Newton Howard
Newton Howard is a brain and cognitive scientist. He earned is B.A. from Concordia University and received an M.A. in Technology from Eastern Michigan University. He studied at MIT and the University Of Oxford, upon being a graduate member of the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, he proposed the Theory of Intention Awareness (IA). Prof. Howard is an author and national security advisor to several U.S. Government Organizations. The Brain Sciences Foundation (BSF), dedicated to improving the quality of life for those suffering from neurological disorders is founded by Prof. Howard. He was a professor of computational neuroscience and functional neurosurgery at the University of Oxford at which he directed the Oxford Computational Neuroscience Laboratory. He was the former director of the MIT Mind Machine Project.
